Monster Energy Canada Ltd. has announced last week, a recall of Monster Energy brand Caffé Monster Salted Caramel Energy Drink. The recall was prompted by the potential presence of glass pieces. That’s definitely not something you want in your morning pick me up!
This could potentially impact home gym owners who rely on the iced coffee drink to help them get their day started post workout. However, there’s no need to panic just yet. Canadian authorities said, “There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product”.

The affected products have a UPC code of
0 70847 03184 0 and come in the 405ml sized containers. Step one is to see if you have any affected products in your home. If you find that you do have the recalled product in your home, don’t drink it! Recalled products should be thrown out or consumers can call Monster Energy Consumer Relations at 1-855-488-1212.
This recall was triggered by Monster Energy Canada Ltd. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. If other high-risk products are recalled, the CFIA will notify the public through updated Food Recall Warnings.
The CFIA is verifying that the recalled product is being removed from the marketplace while the investigation continues.
